Her career began in the U.S. Army Medical Department, where she led a team of over 30 medical professionals. In this capacity, she managed a diverse group of doctors, surgeons, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative professionals; ensuring the safety and treatment of Soldiers and civilians in the Peninsula of South Korea. Her leadership was instrumental in training, guiding, and preparing her team for medical operations, often in collaboration with global allies. Not only did Brooke thrive in accomplishing this critical mission, but her tenure in South Korea was marked by her ability to foster a positive culture and drive impactful changes within her team.
As a versatile medical administrator, Brooke thrives in roles that challenge and enhance her competencies and expertise. At the Army Medical Department Center of Excellence in San Antonio, TX, she trained hundreds of newly commissioned Army medical professional students, developing and implementing comprehensive training programs aimed at boosting productivity and effectiveness. Brooke also established operational standards, policies, and procedures, and mentored numerous new Army healthcare professionals. Subsequently, she served as a Clinical Human Resource Manager at the Soldier Recovery Unit in Colorado Springs, CO, where she played a pivotal role in the organization’s staff operations. Her proficiency in HR transformation, communication, and partnership development contributed significantly to the organization’s success.
Brooke’s extensive experience and notable accomplishments led her to the role of Regional Director of Talent Acquisition in Southern California and the Pacific Rim, including South Korea, Guam, and Japan. In this capacity, her mission was to equip the U.S. Army with the most competitive and well-prepared medical professionals and medical students. Under her leadership, her team consistently achieved significant milestones, driving innovation and excellence in healthcare services. Her expertise in medical staffing and recruiting enabled her to devise effective talent acquisition and job placement strategies, attracting highly qualified candidates and ensuring optimal role alignment.
